FAQs

  • Where do we meet for the tour? Please meet us 15 minutes prior to your tour time at our Base Facility in the Brandywine Valley. It is conveniently located 15 minutes South of Whistler Village with ample free parking. GOOGLE MAPS “Whistler ATV Tours” or APPLE MAPS “Brandywine Base Facility” for directions. Find a map HERE.
  • What should I wear? We recommend dressing appropriate for the weather. If it is cold or raining, a hoodie and rain gear is recommended. If it is warm, then a T-shirt and wind breaker would be best. Closed toed shoes are mandatory.
  • What will be provided? We recommend participants bring any gear that they have. Anything you do not have we can provide. We will have full face DOT helmets, rain gear, goggles, gloves and boots available to rent at no extra charge in a variety of sizes. Also included in your tour will be the machine rental, fuel and one of our guides – gratuity for your guide is not included.
  • Can we bring our cameras and GoPros? Of course! Cameras and GoPros are encouraged to help you capture the beautiful Brandywine Valley and surrounding Whistler back-country. Just make sure you have a secure place to store them (trails get dusty!). Some of our helmets do have GoPro mounts on them already. If you get a good shot, don’t forget to tag #WhistlerATV on your social media or @WhistlerATV on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Do we have to wear helmets? Yes. Everyone who is riding on an ATV or Side by Side must wear a full-face DOT certified helmet. No helmet, no riding – no exceptions.
  • How old do you have to be to drive? Driver’s must be 19+ years old with a full, valid drivers license to drive. Passengers must be 5+ years old.
  • Do we still go if its raining? Yes! We run our tours rain or shine and have full rain gear available if needed. More rain, more puddles and lots of fun!
  • Does everyone have to sign a waiver? Yes. Everyone is required to sign a Release of Liability and Waiver Form upon check in. Anyone under 19 years old will require a parent or legal guardian present to sign on their behalf. (Siblings are not recognized as a parent or guardian unless deemed so in a court of law)
  • What’s the Collision Coverage? All drivers are required to pay a mandatory collision coverage of $25 per tour. This covers any accidental damage to the machine. Group bookings and 3+ hour tours may require an open credit card damage deposit.
  • What is your Cancellation Policy? We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or make any changes to bookings. Cancellations or changes made within 24 hours of tour departure are subject to full price of booking. Whistler ATV reserves the right to cancel or modify tours due to inclement weather, unforeseeable hazards, insufficient bookings, or events beyond our control. Full refunds will be made, or alternate dates will be offered in these unlikely events.
  • NEW* Cancellation Protection – Cancellation protection is eligible on bookings with less than 10 people and must be purchased at the time of booking. Purchasing cancellation protection will allow you to cancel your tour and receive a full refund up to 1 hour before your departure time. If you have purchased cancellation protection and do not show up for your tour, “no show” and do not notify us 1 hour before your scheduled departure time the full cost of the tour will apply. Recommended if you are driving up from the city on a weekend and may experience traffic delays or road closures.
